Maybe I've not been following the right threads, but what was the point in posting up the wrong field layout, and leaving it there for so long?

And, believe it or not, not all teams read p8 on a regular basis, so how many teams will still not be aware that the field they are playing on will actually not be anything like the one they're expecting?

Unfortunately not. I was told by an EXL board member that the new design would be sent to me around the first of this month. Now the word is we'll have a meeting to have a look at this in Bitburg. I'll report whatever information I get as soon as I can.

Steve

I know this might be exasperating for you and it is frustrtating for me, but I'll wait until after my meeting in Bitburg to give a 100% definite answer to that. I can only say most likely now.

Design made official!!!

EXL teams recieved an e-mail from Morris this morning, and it has this in it:

"The field designs for both X Ball fields at Camp Masters are the ones published on the Camp Masters website, the same design used in NXL’s Mardi Gras and LA events. We will have inflated border guards on the NXL field also."

So I guess that answers all our questions then.

Now, this was also included in the mail:

"The coaches’ boxes will be moved to the opposite side of the field from the tower. Any rules clarifications about that changed will be published as soon as I receive them."

I hope they will also move the pit areas since the coaches should be able to descide who´s playing the next game etc. I doubt they will move the pit though, as this will obscure the view for the spectators. Have asked Steve to clarify and will post as soon as he does.
