x-ball is still the way forward for Campaign.
this isn't the same team we had last year, it's just a bunch of kids!
and we're starting up a new SPOD UNIT 04, (caused we pinched a load of the SPOD to play for Campaign). The scarry thing is this team has an average age of 18 years old, (not counting simon cause he's well old!) This team is built for the long run.
The future of competitive paintball is in the youth. I see a lot of teams complaining because they want young fast front players, but they arn't prepared to train them up! This season for us is about learning to play events, the paintball part is easy, but the preparation part, knowing the rules, how to play the judges, just getting your kit sorted... exactly the things we will get punished for with x-ball; these are the things we need to develop.
Mostly we're just happy to be playing, 7s, X-ball we don't care. We just love playing and can't imagine doing anything else...
