Depends on the site some don't allow neutrel players as such though all the ones I've played will at least shield you as they check (nice but painfull for 'em) I heard that neutrel calls had been dropped from some tournies anyone else heard that?

Dropping Neutral calls would make the marshall's job virtually impossible. Depending on where a possible hit is, the player may have to be stood up from a low barricade for a proper check to be made, or at least move position which may make them more vulnerable to being hit. Can you imagine the screams from players if they were told " I know you say you weren't hit, but to make sure I want you to stand up for me to check you, & by the way at the same time you'll be eliminated if any further shots break on you". I know I wouldn't be impressed!

Neither would I liz I feel that neutrel calls are a necessity but the ruling I heard was for it to speed up games ( and allow creeping on players getting checked which we all know happens and have seen more that a dozen times) it is rare for a neutrel call to be made at tournies anyway (usually hits are a wee bit obvious)
