No, i have just read reviews, which tend to say a new feeder and barrel are needed, but i shouldnt think that they are that important, i can always upgrade in the future
so you do think the deal at justpaintball is good then.

I am hoping that i can join the Swarm paintball team

Well..I mean, if you want to buy new, great and its a good idea to go there, so you can get a feel for it and ask questions etc.

Its certainly a good deal.

When you want upgrades etc, give me a shout, see my sig!

The feeder is actually, Feed neck, teh bit your loader clamps in to.

Most people, get a new trigger, feedneck, grips, a qev etc, maybe a coloured body kit.

If you felt so inclined, you could buy secondhand for a bit less, but...for £350 your getting the full monty, so go for it.

Mornin' Kissyholder, & welcome to the world of tournament paintball.

I would strongly suggest that you have a try of different types of markers before you go out & buy one - they all have a different "feel" to them & what suits one person often doesn't suit another. Many 'ballers will happily let you have a try of their pride & joy at a training or walk-on day if you explain why you want to try it out. And though the outlay isn't anywhere near as great this is even more important when it comes to your goggles, everyone's face is a different shape and we have to wear them for large amounts of time so getting the ones you feel most comfortable in is critical.

If you can get to play with Swarm that would be great for you, they are a fantastic and friendly bunch of guys & will help you no end. They would let you try any different markers and goggles that they own between themselves, and may have a team discount with one or more retailers that you could take advantage of.

If you do go to Just in Reading have a word with Simon there who would be able to advise you on the best add-ons for an Ion, and buying the whole lot as a package should be cheaper than getting the basic gun then adding the bits later yourself.

Just dont really sell Ion upgrades as far as I am aware Liz, however, I do...so I know a fair bit about them!

Looks like our friends best option will be to buy the package deal that Just sell, at a very reasonable cost...Marker, Goggs (JT), Eggy2, pack, 5000psi air, fluffy stick, squeegie, pods etc...all for £349...bargain!
