Well...I am certainly glad of that:)

I have enough trouble judging the best course of action about an angry woman at home, I don't need the tress of bumping into an angry one at Paintball too, I'm bald enough as it is:eek:

Looks like I have pissed Pete off tho...hasn't replied to my PM:(.

Oh well, as Scarlet says..."Tomorrow, is another day..."

BTW: Just watched Transformers..took my two nephews as an excuse...awesome. Visually stunning and the story line is sufficient to support it...:D

I loved it too, but there was a story line?
went tonight to watch it. not exactly like i remember from childhood, but honestly the best visual effects i have ever seen in a movie.

some of the scenes, you would swear the robots were real.......

That is exactly what I said to my wife.

I said, that if someone told me that had actually built those robots, I wouldn't have had a hard time believing it.

There is a story...albeit far fetched, but then what isn't?

A world was created by a Mysterious "cube", the spark that created life (are you with me?)...life evolved, but sooner or later factions developed within society...war, lead to the virtual destruction of their home world and the vital "spark" that created it, was lost into space...

Both factions sought the spark for their opposite reasons...the bad guys traced it to Earth, several thousand years ago...the head bad guy, crashed into what became the Arctic Circle, to be discovered by an explorer, along with "the spark".

The Government, retrieved both the spark and the head bad guy, branded the explorer a lunatic and used the reverse engineered technology to create the world we know today.

A descendant of the explorer, holds the key that the good guys need in order to locate "the Spark". They seek him out, good and evil battle on Earth...bridges are built....and well...you know the rest..:D

But did you stay during the credits to see the hint to the sequel? :)

Skeet, you ain't pissed me off at all, it's just that I get a lot of messages to deal with, that's all mate, I'll eventually get round to answering you, I promise :)

As for Transformers, I'm with Budd, I marveled in the cgi but I have to say, some crummy one liners made me wanna vomit as the American script writers had their ridiculous way with the screenplay...some of those lines actually made me cringe but hey, they were about the only downsides in what was otherwise a cracking good spectacle.
