.....and, man he needs to check himself, he's been lit up all over his belly :p

Its all down to why people play paintball, some play for the "war" aspect whilst others play for a sport. Unforunatley its people like this big fellow which people stereotype paintball with.

It's not a scope it's a red dot sight and five years ago you'd have seen many of tha NPPL's finest using them...and if I was playing a 24-hour game I'd sure as hell have a sling on my gun too.

Actually, I've seen 10X scopes on paintguns, in big games they're useful for spotting opponents, if you're playing in a really open area.

And if you think THAT'S a replica looking gun, check this out :

Yes, that's really an Automag in there.

And this is a Spyder.

Well, people say the Tippman looks like the real thing anyhow, so why not?

There's more on the site. There's a demand for them, it seems. But I've already talked this into the ground on the other thread about Paintball and wargames. You change the desire, you change the demand, the suply will follow.

When I've marshallsed in the past and talked to some of the people rec ball'in , I always felt in the way people talked about there last game that they were there for the "war" aspect but as you go up the ladder of paintball you will find that as people become more involved it becomes a sport to them and not a "war game".
