Paintball vids - recommendations needed.

Hi there,

I know this has probably been asked before but I need some recommendations of decent tournament paintball vids/DVDs.


Ideally I want to pick up something aimed at tournament players with all the good action bits but it would also be helpful to have something that I could show to my girley that explains paintball.
Years & years ago I saw an OLD vid of the All Americans onto which they had placed a display showing all the players on the field and had a useful commentry aimed at people new to paintball - has anything like this been done lately ?

The videos from the Toulouse world cup, both this year and last would be good for you. This years, only just released, is like an introductionary video to the sport showing basic elements to the sport and with helpful commentry. It unfortunately has no games on it! To counter this, last years video of Toulouse is full of games, and thats it. There is a field map on the bottom of the screen but no commentry, just the soothing sound of marker firing :) Both are a good buy.

Just out of curiosity, is there going to be another video of this years world cup in Toulouse with the games on?

The Joy Masters Video is pretty good, some nice moves to watch, but not very good commentary.......

The best I've watched is a Trumahead video, I think it was the World Cup 2000 video. Some good footage of games. Again, pretty poor commentary, but the guy just seemed to throw the odd comment in here and there which probably helped things, instead of having someone on who loves the sound of his own voice........

Ah the gentle sound of paintballs hitting hyberball tubing.......dunno why, but it just sends me to sleep!!!:eek:

Interviews, Tech talk and some excellent footage of the games.

Its all gonna be in there and will be available before christmas.

It will balso be available in VHS format.

We have the lot dudes!! ALL the Traumahead Sportz videos are awesome man, the 3 new ones (LA2k1, Badlands and Gettysburg) are freakin' superb, you'll learn loads by just watching all the action and picking up on the moves made by the big boys, they might seem a bit pricey, about £15-20 but you get over an hour on each. The next is probably THE most important paintball video ever created. PUSH. This video is unreal. It's a documentary of the 99' World Cup (Orlando) and features loads of excellent footage with killer slo'mos plus interviews with all the top teams , Ironmen, Avalanche, Image, AA's, Aftershock....etc.. and don't forget the sick soundtrack. You NEED to buy this dude, in fact everyone needs to buy this movie PLUS it's coming out on DVD too. Last years Toulouse is cool, so is last years World Cup (Orlando), I didn't really rate the Sweden vid but we got it anyway. I've seen the trailer for Campaign and it looks awesome, there's even a snippet of us on it. There's gonna be some video reviews on our site over the next few weeks so stay tuned dudes.
