i remember marshalling a rec site one day and i saw a guy lying in the mud absolutely sh*tting himself. so being a good sport i walk up behind him to gently inform him he could move to the next spot without being seen.

so me being all good and generous and all wandered over and tapped his leg with my toe, in order to gain his attention for a second. bugger rolled on his back and shot me from about 2 feet directly under the chin and on the side of the neck.

i was off work for a couple of weeks over that one.................

Yup, Got shot point blank right between middle nd fore finger. Quite a bleeder. Also general stupidity for example team mate held tip of barrel and he had a light trigger, bad mistake.

Ryder.

You intentionaly ball shot someone in revenge for cutting your face?

1) Give up paintball, deliberately hurting someone is assault. Quit before you punched in the head or really hurt someone.
2) Paintballs hurt, if you can't take it, again, you are in the wrong game.
3) Unless this was meant to be funny, pray the bloke you ball shot isn't reading your post right now and planning what to do to you next time he sees you.
4) A 13 year old boy was hit in the ear from behind at our rec-site yesterday, really unlucky and very close range due to a friendly fire incident (player slipped and the marker was actualy in contact with the kids flesh).

He wiped the blood off, had a sit down and once he'd stopped shaking had a great day. So, buy a helmet or suck it up :)

Oh, and I'm looking forward to "Anyone been kicked really hard in the nuts after deliberately ball shooting another player".

Got shot just below the ear from quite close, it left a mark for a while but I don't think it scarred. I've got a bruise on my thigh from months ago which hasn't faded yet.. I think i'm stuck with it for a while lol

LOL yea, he was checking for a ball break in the barrel, an so stick his finger down, an pulled the trigger.

He just looked really surprised, but it did swell pretty bad after!

Also wost ballin injury ive ever had was in the days of rec balling when mi goggles steamed up an i had straight into a really thich branch, utterlty taking my self out an leaving a goggle foam shaped bloody mark across by forehead.

If it cut you just below the eye, I suggest you change your goggles! All goggles I know of sit on the top of the cheekbones and protect the whole of the very soft bit round the eyes, so the only way a paintball could get into that area would be if they weren't fitting properly and leaving a gap, or if you hadn't put them on properly so leaving a gap. Goggles should all be worn so they fit snugly round the whole of the eye area with the foam close against your skin, and with the straps adjusted tightly enough so they can't move if you shake your head quite hard.
