ive just bought a subscription to pbuk from bz, don't tell me they've gone under to
Not sure mate i have a subscription i've only had 2 mags but can't remember when the last one was?
As if by magic had a copy through this morning:D
Prompted by your posts I got myself off my sickbed and went home to find my copy in the post.

They stopped publishing for quite an age but returned two editions ago. It is now published less often but this is preferable to no publication.

I forget how many I was due from my original subscription but expect a prompt once that runs out.

wot happened to "PGI" because it seems like it had alot of people subscribing 2 it... could it not get enough advertising or investments?

Investments?
I'm not sure what you mean by that but bottom line is this:- Over the last year or so we have seen the demise of Splatt, Paintball Sports, Paintball2Xtremes, P8nt (went some time back) and finally PGi (after 20 years).

The reason?
The industry as a whole went into deep recession and found itself unable to advertise as much as it should with some companies going bust altogether.

Subscriptions (or even mag sales) are not the lifeblood of any magazine, PGi, as well as all the other other mags, lives or dies on how much advertising it can attract and as such, when advertising dried up, so did we.
