Most reliable pump gun ive come across is the sterling bronze, off the top of my head their about £75. Powerball make em' their website is here. if you don't want to buy from there, keep your eyes on the 'Classifieds' section of this site.
As for smoke grenades....they smell funny and are quite annoing.
Hope this is of some help

I doubt the council are going to let you play ball on public land. After all these things take peoples eyes out. We play in my friends woods and the law is that you need 150ft perimeter between you and any public footpath so your best bet is to join a team, save up some cash and have some serious fun. Or you could try and buy some land off the council which i think is even more unlikely.

As long as its yours or you get permisson from the owner then i think it should be fine. But remember the perimeter rule. You dont want some old git measuring it to a foot less than it should be and fining you. So safty first kids!:D

I would most definately not try your luck in your local woods, thats a really bad idea.
If your garden is big enough then it should be alright if you keep the shots low and the noise doesnt bother the neibours.
