 sweet mother, that's a lot of paint! (hey, ur the only guy on htis thread to call it a pod, good job!) are ur pods 100 or 150 rnd pods, and how on earth do u afford all that paint? sponsors, right?
and while i'm here i suppose i should ask: my friend wants to get me onto a five-man tourny team he is starting up, and as i'm getting a flatline for my tippy soon, i'll probably be a back player. how much paint and air should i carry? i know i'll need a bigger tank and pack, but how big?

Heh what are they called around here, guppies? :)

The pods are 150 rounds

The sponsors handle our paint at the tournaments, but at practice we shoot less paint and work more on communication, movement and closing.

In 5-man, 5 minute games (Cal-Jam) I carried 9 pods, but on average only shot about 5-6 pods. In 10-minute 5-man games, I carry 9-11 and probably average about 8-9 pods.

I use an ER 5+4+4 loops, which can hold 13 pods. It doubles as a 5+4 and the extra loops do not stick out. I'd recommed at least a 9 pack for back players.

Other packs to check out this season is a pack from a new company called Nartech. WGP should have these packs as well. They are collapseable packs and can hold 3-20 pods, pretty impressive.

As for air you'll need an 88/4500 bottle. Look for the stubby bottles from PMI, they are as long as a 68, just a bit fatter. With an intimidator I can shoot over a case with this bottle

Have fun!

Luxfer are also doing a 91/4500 bottle ... which is the same length as a 68. Nice size ....

(just offering other options)

That's good news, more air = more paint! :) I'm also waiting to check out the 88/5K.

Thanks!

i myself shoot about a hopper and maybe a pod in a 7 man game. If i play tight and stay in then itt'll go up to 2 pots used and a hopper. Up front shouldn't use much more than that :p i think
