PA registration is open to ALL tourney players...

Under the 'current status' description, how would one go about being suspended?
IF it ever comes to that...and I sincerely hope it never does, there's a disciplinary procedure in place so that if a player ever transgresses to the point where a "suspension" is required they'll be well informed.

As for what would get you suspended, verbal abuse of a referee would put you on a good start...

Verbally abuse a referee?

What with? Isn't the usage of harsh language punishable by purgatory?

Seriously, aren't we (collective) in danger of sanitising the game a little too much? What next, Gentlemen's Betokeners at Dawn.

Div 3

Thats just a silly random point....but a more important one is....is there anybody checking up on a players claims??????

you could get Joe Punter saying he has played 5 years international Pro......and somebody may believe him...so who checks up?

...and...dont think Chris is getting on at all...although there are some things in the warm up he cant do.....lol

Actually, that's not a bad idea,

Hatt's, I challenge you to a duel.

Can't do Sunday at dawn maybe be a bit hungover, Leg 5?. Let me know who your second is.

As no one has ever kept records before...and as far as I'm aware the PA is the first organisation to do so then "checking up" is pretty impossible task. Part of the PA's remit is to to try and formalise tournament registration and start keeping track of players.

Putting yur "CV" out to tender is like getting any other job. You can lie on your CV and maybe even blag the interview...but ultimately in the job you'll be judged on your merits and ability.

Oh and the Pro, Div1, Div2 thing only came in this year so for many UK players it's not relevant yet.

C'mon Hatts

Your choice of betokener,

Golden Eagles (are there 2 working ones left anywhere in the world???)
Splatt Masters
PT Extremes
Dm4s
E-blades

I'll warn you now, I used to live in Japan and was the Under 25's Shibuya District Namco Station Time Crisis II Champion (1999), so pistols may not be the bestest choice.

Your never know, we may even get on TV. Loser gives 50 quid to the others charity of choice........

At PA events it's cetainly punishable by penalty points... :) and lots of them as teams found out in the last round...and will again in R4.

Whilst I wouldn't say the PA has a "Zero tolerance" policy on swearing it's probably as close as you'll get at any paintball tourney.

Also very loudly suggesting to the referees face from a distance of several inches in that his mother is of questionable fidelity and has an overtly familiar fondness for beasts of burden is pretty much assured to get you attention you or our team probably don't want and repeated offences will get players suspended...simple s that really.

It's not about "sanitising" the sport, it's about presenting it in a professional manner and encouraging an attitude of respect between players and ref's. There is simply no need to be abusive and anyone who feels there is a need or can't control it isn't welcome.
