look i know the tourny was very very good! i just think theres always room for improvment, how do u think we got to where we are now?
personally I prefer the staring in front of the gate method as it allows for an easier breakout.
Only way I like starting behind is if the gates are far enough away from the netting to allow up to 5 of your guys to stand on the edge of the gate one behind another. I have been to tournies before where we had 4 guys going down 1 tape but there was only enough room for 2 front guys to stand on the edge between the netting and gate. So with the front guys on the edge I was further inside the gate area than I wanted to be and by the time the front guys had got out of the way for me to come out and shoot, one of the oppositions balls wereshooting the edge of the gate and I got hit as I ran out from behind the gate. To say I was pissed off was an understatement.
The starting in front of the gate lends itself to a much more aggressive game as the front players have a more direct route to run to their primaries, allowing for further breaks, the back players immediately have a good view of the field to sweetspot and lay down paint to cover their front guys. All in all a much better way to breakout imho.

If you want to play the pa cup you abide by their rules if you play the MM you play by their rules, NPPL, PSP, s2k4, KoTH etc etc etc
as you've just started playing with a decent team, don't start with the daft personality, because usually your a really nice guy!

Personally I'd prefer to start infront of the gates, and im sure around 50% of the teams who played would too.

If we could run in a straight line the mud isnt much of a problem, but when your behind a gate and you have to run around a corner it becomes a big problem,, you have to tiptoe like a little sissy girl till you get to some solid ground then try and runn as fast as possible,,
and How does his comments refelct on his personality, hes just addressing something that im sure a few teams are thinking,
