yet again we turn up on at the pa on sunday after wot seems like the longest drive in the world, and the fields as per usual are the worst layouts ive ever seen!! the marshalling again, below any standard i ve ever played before. i just dont understand how they can fail so miserably on two of the most important areas of a tournament.

I dont think thats fair,
the fields were different to what they normally put up.
in my opinion fields 1 and 2 were alright, had options of going down either tape and even through the middle of the field.
though field 3 was very limited. there was really only 1 breakout option and then not much option for moving up either.

also I thought the marshalls they had worked very hard, especially in the heat. unfortunately there wasnt enough of them, and you cant expect the ones they had to run their asses off for god knows how many games in that heat.

agree about field 3, terrible lack of options and a bit of a breakout gamble.
Other 2 fields were fine, made for some really fast games.
The marshals did reasonably well considering the heat, can't knock them for that.

I enjoyed it, even if we didn't have as good a performance as we did the previous 2 legs.

I think that the fields were wicked! The fields were good for watching and very good for playing as all three of them forced aggressive play from all over the field, making teams hit long and fast breaks etc.

The refs did a very good job in that heat with so little of them. It’s not an easy job and people defiantly don’t appreciate it at times, as without them you wouldn’t have been able to play it. Well Done!

Cheers to all the teams we played and thanks once again to all the refs!

I think the refs did an excellent job..

they were all getting in and checking players and really really worked hard. perhaps there could have been more but I don't think they could have worked much harder.

fields were the same for both teams and that's all that really matters as long as it's the same both ends,

fair point bout the marshallin (having marshalled in hot weather myself) but is the limited numbers of marshalls wot causes the problems? (and i know that a lot of teams had issues with the marshalling). every other part of the event was run so well with more than enough staff!! so why cant they sort out the marshall issues. four marshalls tryin to cover fourteen playas is never gonna work. with regards to the fields they never really left you with any options most teams through all the divisions were making the same breakouts because there was so little oppurtunity for variation, which in my opinion made it boring to watch.

Cheer's buddy, i wuld like to say that i though ALL 3 fields were top notch!Like stephen said they all forced aggresive play... ace fun. Only the 'larger' back players would disagree as field 3 forced them to run abit... :p nowt wrong with a tad of exercise my friend!

An marshalling in that heat with only 4 or 5 a field, well what can i say... i worked my ass off all day in that heat! They could of just turned around and called off the round... would that of been better? Im sure alot more poeple would be pissed if that happend.

As far as i am aware only one or two teams had issues... But good day all around. :D :D :D

agreed more people would have been annoyed, but its been a consistent problem throughout the year. for that amount of players on the field you need alot more marshalls. This is after all, supposed to be the top series in the uk!!!!

That exactly what im trying to say, we need more marshalls per feild. 14 players for 5 refs.... hmmm.... is pretty damm hard!

The thing about the PA is that russ only gets marshalls that know what there doing and do it for the paintball. Where as, SOME of the marshall that ref the masters are totally in it for the £50!! You can see that SOME really dont give a flying fook. I think thats the reason why the PA struggles for refs. Anyone else agree?

Great round, had very little problems all day. Loved all the fields, i thought field 3 was refreshing running and gunning was essential.

Marshalls well done in temperatures of 30+ you did a fantastic job all day.

Thanks to all those involved, and to the guys helping coaching us.
