Basically the Server p8 is hosted on caught a virus over christmas.

It isn't serious, some Beechams Cold and Flu, a hot water bottle and some rest and everything is nearly back to normal. But the problem with the search terms is a bit more serious so might take a while to get fixed.

cheeers duder

with avatars and that it says:

Note: the maximum size of your custom image is 75 by 75 pixels or 15000 bytes (whichever is smaller).

the one im trying to upload is 75 by like 68 pixels yet it says i cant upload it cos its too big and exceeds 15000 bytes

but it says "(whichever is smaller)." so if the image dimesnions are in limit why dont it upload?

because it excedes the 1500byte limit.

Which in your case is smaller than 75 by 75 pixel limit.

Someone ban him again... PLEASE

Im never wrong

If that were true I could make an avatar that was 900 pixels by 1 pixel and because using gif compression it is less than 1500 bytes it would be allowed according to your interpretation of the avatar rules. But it would obviously break the forum tables....

Or I could make an avatar that is 75 by 75, but using bitmap format it would be 17kb, which would take a good few seconds to load up on a modem....
