Hey Baco,

For the guys & gals out there who are designing these sigs, it may be worthwhile at least giving us ideas as to what the largest image size should be.

You guys with slow connections, if you are worried about size of the signature pix in general and would rather not see them at all, you can disable signatures and avatars in your user profile. There is also the facility to disable pix within posts. That should give you guys faster access to the forum

I'm not following: are you saying that as long as sigs fit on a fully-expanded window when running at 1024x768 is ok?

Because if running maximised then wider sigs won't make your post any wider, as the thread is already at maximum width? Or are you assuming that all of the readers on this forum have screens wider than 1024?

If your sig is too wide, then IE (and probably netscape) just puts a scroll bar at the bottom of the screen, so you can have one that is wider than your screen.
