The event is ON just to scotch any rumours.
All the event details will be posted later in the week, but basically turn up at the site at 8.00am on the Sunday and it will all happen. It will be a fun event and we will raise lots of cash for Charity.

Thanks for the info. For anyone else who needs a hotel I found the Lion Hotel in Worksop Nottinghamshire S80 1HT

The Lion Hotel is great - thats where we all stay when we are training at Skirmish Notts.

hi GuysThe Clumber park hotel is not full as of today ( 20/nov/03 ) Their booking system shows the hotel as full, but I have saved 20 twin rooms at a special rate, but to book you must quote either 315 or Skirmish, then they can get you a room, but be quick once these have gone thats it !!!!!!!!!

With less than a week to go the "Charity pot" has started to fill up. The raffle and auction at the Series 2003 event raised £530+ with several more cheques to be paid I would anticipate a figure nearer the £700 mark. Ian's hair cut is generating several bids.
If you have rung or e mailed for information and expressed an interest in playing (don't back out because it is cold or wet) you need to be a Skirmish Nottingham for 8.00am on Sunday.
You will register and then your name will be entered into the team draw.
At 8.30am we will draw the teams with first game around 9.00am so please arrive on time. No need for a captains meeting as you all know the rules
No idea of how many teams will be playing but I would like 10 (or 12) x 7 man teams and one big round robin format. There will be trophies for the top three teams. We are looking at supplying lunch for all the players and marshals.
Marshalling will be by Nexus players (with Ledz as ultimate) hopefully Killer Clowns if I can get in touch with them (dropped off the planet) and anyone else who turns up to help support this charity event.
Site paint is available from Nick and Air and Co2 will be supplied courtesy of H-pac and the site,
The event is powered by Nick and all his helpers at Skirmish, Draxxus, WDP, H-pac, Atmosphere Paintball, Just Paintball, p8ntballer web site, Powerplay paintball, Rochdale Trophy Centre, PBUK, Team Spirit and lots more. The Clumber park have advised me today that they have released the final 10 rooms that they were holding so anyone still looking for accomodation will need to ring the hotel on 01623 835333 asap
