Over 35's event information

If any of u guys want hotel accomadation I have got a deal out of the Clumber Park Hotel which is only 8 mins from the site..

I have provisionally booked an allocation of twin rooms @ £39.00 per room ( room only ) Once these have gone then its too late.

Hotel restaurant takes last bookings at 9.00 pm, if you arrive after that you will have to check room service, then there's allways the bar !

To Contact the hotel tel 01623 835333 and quote ref 315 or Skirmish, or you will be charged normal rate ( £60.00 )

So if anyone is traveling down from Newcastle way, if I can cadge a lift let me know and Bully, I may try and get the team in on it as well, as I am a poor no age (over 30 but under 35) who has to keep the old folks comfortable.

Well this is an event i will have to try and sneak in to and if any of you under 30's want to see what skill is go and watch some of the games on the woodland field.

Russell, your youthfull looks can't cover the fact that you might be one of the only players to be able to claim the £5 discount. It will make a change to play instead of being ultimate tea brew boy!!! Who could we have as ultimate ???

The reaction to the event has been first class - all the trade we have spoken to are "onboard" and the sponsorship they are offering will reduce our costs so more money to be donated to the charity. If you want more info about the charity visit this link http://www.macmillan.org.uk/ charity

The Macmillian charity are sponsoring the marshals tops.

Book in asap - currently about 5 booked in so lets set a target of 100 players, that should generate a minimum of £2000 donation.

The BBC have promised to come & film the event,so if u want your 5 minutes of fame Get booked in. Through i cant promise that Johnathan Woss will be there!!! For those that may need it, I could ask for the make up department to attend, so you look good, Some vanishing cream to hide the odd wrinkle !

Battlepacks act as corsets (no middle age spread to be seen) and goggles to hide the wringles so when we are all kitted up we look 20 years younger

Apparently hemoride cream around the eyes is good for smoothing away those unsightly wrinkles
