I was at my local field on saturday playing with a few of the local 10 man team. I was a little low on paint so I fuigured I would hit the 50 on the go. Its a big ass nacho. I get in there and we start going. I am posted on the right side and this dude comes around and bunkers me. It drilled me right on the collar bone?

Has anyone else had this happen? Its like the size of a golf ball. It hurts to move, damn.

Ok, lets get this straight - you are basically asking if anyone has ever got shot by a paintball?

Ummm.....there was this one time, at paintball camp.......ahem, I mean, oh yeah - the last time I went to 'my local field', they told me to put on a mask, and gave me this thing that looked like a gun - I think it was called a Chipman or something, then they sent me into this forest, and after a couple of minutes I got shot! I didn't know what to do! I ran screaming for miles all the way back to the main building I told them to call an ambulance and stuff as this bullet must have had an adverse reaction with my body and my blood was all blue and dripping down my chest! .....anyway as it turns out, there are these things called 'painty marbles' or something that people shoot each other with (weird, huh!). So, it turns out I was shot by one of them - your wee story seemed to remind me of that so maybe that's what happened to you too!! Don't worry though dude, after they amputated my arm because the elbow swelled up like a golf ball, it hasn't been all bad....

the two times ive been hit on the collar bone hurt like hell,even worse than getting hit in the nads

OK cos the colar bone has no fat to protect it it will bump up alot more then other more 'padded' areas, don't worry about it, the swelling will go down after a few days to a week, try some arnica on it this should help reduce the bruising!

Seriously though, if it really is as big as you say it is, or they pain is that much. You might want to get it checked out anyway.

As he said, Arnica is very good for reducing bruising - you can find it in the the 'Homeopathic' section of Boots - DOH! You're in America, , you can probably get some from CVS. And that's 'Homeo', not 'Homo'. I know what you were thinking! Tsk tsk

Arnica is a plant extract, arnica montana tincture is the active ingredient. It comes in a cream form and is excellent for healing bruise's.

It also comes in a very small tablet form too (kind of like a small ball really). This can be good for overall bruising if you don't want to completely lather yourself in cream! I find it works very well after a day of paintballing when the bruises can be found by the dozen!
