I went shopping yesterday in Bluewater and as I trawled my ass around I got accosted by some guy who shouted 'Oi mate, wanna play paintball'?

I looked round in surprise at someone shouting at me and just smiled; he was standing in front of some sorta Paintball promitions booth and he then went on to assure me, 'Mate, it's a great game, you gotta try it, we can offer it to you at £6 per 100 balls blah, blah, blah.....'

'I'll have to try that sometime' I replied

they are great arnt they i got stopped by one in Manchester a year or so ago, i was wearing a pair of dye pants and a planet hoodie at the time and the guy asks me 'have you ever heard of paintball?'
made me smile for a while, the guy didnt have a clue what he was talking about, they had a table set up with a couple of masks and what he described as a 'top of the range automatic gun' (inferno). when i asked him if they allowed walk ons he looked at me completely clueless.

That did cross my mind but the subsequent 'Nah mate, who are ya'? would have destroyed me so I swerved that response
