not fair, it's just getting good, I can imagine Nick actually pointing his fingers and fanning the 'air-trigger' as he is talking. The Duck games have been played out blow by blow before my eyes on this very forum. By the sound of it they were very unlucky not to win the whole thing!

No offence by the way. I know you guys get all fired up when you think there has been a major injustice done to you.
It does sound like the fact that players were 'mouthing off' caused more damage to the game than a 'who-shot-who' conflict.

But then I didn't have a great view from where I was sitting, so what would I know...

Sorry for back peddling a bit, but just wanna comment on this. When a player is caught with a bouncing gun, the team receive a 5 minute major penality. On top of that, the player in question is banned for the rest of the game. If he is caught in the second half, he is also banned from the next game too!

Totally unfair, Maestro. If I'd been inclined to comment I would'a invited the refs to give their views and confirm the day late dollar short apology. I would'a asked for pics and video clips if any existed to be posted. I would'a insisted the combatants behave civilly and only those present would be allowed to contribute--which would keep Mark outta the discussion -- and I would'a pointed out that ITN was doing what he always seem to be doing at a Pball tourney--watching. Thas what I would'a done.

PS--day late dollar short comment implies no opinion whatsoever other than if the alleged apology was in fact offered that is the category it would fall into. And by using the term alleged I in no way am suggesting the apology didn't occur--I's just covering my legal bases. Oil on troubled water indeed.

Oh yeah and on a side note I would'a asked Big Bad Buddha if'n he's prepared to stand in solidarity beside his Danish Bros and protest their being penalized for potty mouth violations since he's adamantly opposed to restricting the rights of ballers to swear like troopers thus proving their desire to win.

Jay, I luv you, man. Next question, Is PB a sport or an exhibition? I'm just curious 'cus your primary interest seems to be the enjoyment of the spectators (although elsewhere you have suggested you think it unlikely PB will ever have much in the way of non-playing spectators) -- which is kind of a contradictory posture, isn't it? Or at least a lousy argument.
