It's all gone quiet, I'm assuming Robbo is in prison then...? Lol
I'm afraid that all barnett's claims of police intervention / legal action / a physical response have all come to nothing but let's face it, for those who have been following this thread, the fact that barnett's propensity for being a lying scumbag should come as no real surprise.
For the record, his claim of police intervention was never gonna amount to Jack-Sh!t for two reasons; the first being, I had committed no crime which tends to be a bit of a slight technical hitch for someone trying to get me nicked but the second, more crucial reason is, the last thing barnett needs is the police sniffing around him - barnett will not want to put his head above the crowd ..... that would be waaaaayy too risky for someone who's been doing what he's been doing.
As for getting solicitors involved?
Once again, there's another couple of technical hitches .... As far as I'm aware, there's nothing illegal about expressing one's opinion and if he wants to accuse me of 'libel' then he has to prove I'm making it all up about him ..... he knows damned well he's done what he's done and there are a lot of people who have added their experiences with him in this thread and the sheer weight of testimonial evidence against him completely undermines any possibility of a successful lawsuit.
Basically, and to use strict legal terminology here, he's fuhk'd !!
And now we come to his final claim of a violent intervention but he hasn't made this claim to lots of people - he told someone that he's going to get me 'sorted out' ..
When I first heard this claim, it was obvious [to me at least] he couldn't do it on his own because he lacks the necessary resources, the first of those being, he hasn't got the guts, and he's hardly a trained fighter, far from it.
He can bully and threaten people when he knows there'll be no comeback or he perceives them as weak but that behaviour ill-equips him for the real thing ... and he knows that.
He'd have to go to others if he wished to go down that road but as I mentioned once before, that's a perilous path to take if you are not acquainted with such things .... and he's not.
The main reason he told this to someone was because he felt he needed to respond to what was going on in this thread.
barnett's ego is so inflated that he ended up concocting this story out of desperation to try and maintain some form of 'credibility'.
After all, you gotta remember, this thread has broken all previous records in terms of views and interest, it would seem the vast majority of ballers have all borne witness to what he's been up to - And day after day he's had to read [or been told about] all manner of accusations and insults from people within our sport - that can't be easy for someone like him to stomach because unless he's seen to do something about me [or any of the other posters] he will look weak and without influence which by the way, is exactly what he is.
His whole self-image is rooted in delusion, and in that fuhk'd up head of his, he felt he needed to tell some people he was dealing with me.
Whether or not those people he told believed him?
I don't know but I know at least one who didn't ... and I suspect the other he told must have doubted him, especially by now ...
It's a pathetically short-term strategy because telling people he's been to the police, solicitors and getting me 'dealt with' is inevitably doomed to be discovered sooner or later.
I think it fair and reasonable for people to question just why he's been unable to deal with me or this thread - in fact, for anyone sitting on the fence, it is the most critical of questions ...
The reason being is because if I, or any of the other posters in this thread had been indulging in lies or libel then we would have seen some form of action .. it's conspicuous by its absence.
And trust me on this next point, if barnett could have mounted a potentially successful lawsuit, he would have done so in a heartbeat ... and he didn't ... because he couldn't !!

It would seem as though barnett is maybe looking around for an exit strategy from paintball with this new enterprise of his ... www.muddymountain.co.uk ... leastwise I hope it is.
I think he's eminently more suited to that line of business seeing as it involves rolling around in the mud and shiit of his own making .... seems to me as though he's finally discovered his true calling in life.
And if that takes off for him we might well see two things happen; the first being, the sound of the back door closing as he hopefully slinks out of paintball .. and the second thing we might see is, a 'Support for Soldiers' appeal for money that's targeted at a completely different customer demographic ... No really ...
Nothing would surprise me about this guy .....well, something would I suppose, if he grew a pair of nuts and endeavoured to back up the hard-man image that he likes to portray - it's his last opportunity because I've now ran out of ways to bait him .... I've tried questioning his alleged male-ego but it seems to have gone on the missing list in favour of presenting with a more feline response ... ya know, acting like a pussy :/

If only it were that easy Sneaky - the guy will hang on for dear life in paintball because he has so much invested in it, and the last thing he wants to do is squirm out the back door because of what's been said in this thread and its consequent effects on his events .. I think a lot of people have questioned the notion of putting money into his pocket after reading some of the dire things he's done to people but bottom line is, 'bums on seats' at events - we'll see how that pans out as the year unfolds.
Something about hiring an old runway on farcebook seems to be his latest paintball boast so maybe he's not quite retired yet.
How many made it to the previous Croatia game? The island one? Don't think he's going to get as many for that if it's just magfed, plus how many players will want to take their Rif's out of the country to possibly have trouble bringing them back? Uwl magfed he was doing has been outsourced already and looks pretty quiet so he's got someone else to blame if that flops.
81 of us went to Croatia, to his and Al's, CtD3 event, a few years ago. That was a 4 day stint on Mrcara island and the whole trip was a week with driving there and back.
Total cost was about £800, IIRC, by the time travel/paint/accomodation etc factored in, but we did have two nights out in Split at either end as well.
It was a really good experience and a first of its kind back then. We all had a bit more money as well. Even half that price could be the equivalent of 4 or 5 UK events for some people now, so it might be a more difficult decision to make than it was back then.
The site will appeal to magfed and airsoft players, I'm sure, but one of the reasons they play those styles is cost so only they can decide whether they are willing to pay the increased costs to play the location.
At the end of the day, an organiser can secure a location but only the players willing to pay will decide if its a success based on their own personal and financial factors. There is no doubt that there are some interesting locations that have been made available since that first CtD1 even at RAM Trainings original site in an old factory.
