Add Excalibur to the closed bolt list, that's the only other closed bolt marker I can think of.
Trivia: the 2k3 shocker was initially supposed to be a closed-bolt gun, as was its predecessor, but they discovered very late in the development cycle that the design just didn't work reliably enough, so they had to hastily redesign the internals, and put in an open-bolt system uncannily like the Matrix.
The perceived difference in accuracy is probably because closed bolt guns have less moving mass at the time the ball is fired, so less kick between the time you pull the trigger and the time the ball is sent on its merry journey. If you are single-balling, then the effect could be noticeable; if you are firing any more than single balls, that becomes irrelevant, because the kick will simply push your next shot off target instead.
