Now delrin/aluminium - there's a difference. Delrin is lighter and self-lubricating, so there's no o-rings and no oiling. Result: less kick, faster cycling, lower maintenance and possible lower cocking pressure. Some delrin bolts suffer from a blowback problem though, due to the lack of o-rings and a slightly loose fit.
I saw a delrin bolt at Planet today with two o-rings!

OK, some delrin bolts come with o-rings. Although I think Belsales in particular say you can take the o-rings off if you don't find blowback a problem. It's all in the tolerances - if the bolt is a loose fit then you'll get a lot of blowback gas up the feed tube leading to poor feeding.

You want to see the fun that people who bought the first batch of Evil Impulse bolts had. And delrin bolts on pretty much any blowback are a bad idea for the same reason.
