But isn't the Donkey the bit which screws into where the ASA would be, the bottom line would be bit which screws on to base of the gripframe.?

E.g. Sterling bronze pump. The CO2 bottle would screw in on a section mounted under the bolt chamber. To move the bottle mounting point requires a donkey, some hose, maybe some 90 degree elbows, and a bottom line adapter?

I was comparing them as names for the parts they refer to, not as actual pieces.

I was under the impression that a "donkey" was the part mounted to the bottom of the grip frame. It was discussed here.
