...........That just sucks as far as I am concerned.

The MS talks about improving quality and keeping entry fees at last year's level. Well that's only half true. Fees stay the same but value comes down, because the number of games played for the same fee comes down!!!

They also talk about setting up several more committees, including 1 for the players. Then, why not wait and let the players' committee consult on the 'proposal' to reduce prelim games, rather than announce it now as a done deal.

I, for one, would not vote to reduce the number of 'guaranteed' games to 8. It costs us a small fortune to attend events, and we want value for money.

Come on MS - don't just follow blindly what other tournament series do. Ask your customers what we want and we will gladly tell you.

The rate of fire will be locked at 15 shots per second. Ramping and full automatic shots are still forbidden. We will have equipment to help us enforce these rules.

fully agree with that. considering the time, expense and effort we have to put in coming from across the water. it's not like we gain anything.

8 games for what entry fee?? £600 i don't think so..............

ah well looks like we'll just have to do some of the bigger domestic series' then.

Guess you answered your own question. If they had waited till then, they would not have had their way.

Yup, still cynical.

"Furthermore, this year we have decided not to increase the entry fees"

Bull****!!!!!!

1200Eur divided with 10 games is 120Eur pr game

1200Eur divided with 8 games is 150Eur pr game

Same price my ass!

take three days of work, plane tickets, rentalcars etc etc for how many seconds of play?

"In order have worldwide harmonization for the Series with other series in the world"
Why do you want to "harmonize" with a leaque you did not want to cooperate with?

Please reconsider and think of what got the Millenium in the position it has in the first hand.

Sucks.

So what we have here is a situation where we pay a few hundred pounds extra to play an event that has a high chance of only providing one extra game over a local event such as the D7s.

Although it can be said that attending the milleniums is the only way to play against the best teams in europe. Does that really make that much of a difference? Is it worth paying that much extra to get one prelim game against a "pro" team?

Starting to get a little disillusioned with the Millenium Series now (understatement of the year.)

I thought y'all were hot to have the NPPL come over to Euroland and deliver paintball nirvana. Here the Mil is promising to give you what the NPPL has on offer for less money and all you can do is complain.
You're even getting the 15 bps enforceable gun rules and it's nothing but whine, whine, whine.
With 5 annual events, like the NPPL and PSP, you don't have to pick and choose--you just sign up for all of 'em. Easy.
I suppose you're even gonna demand you get dates, locations and schedules in advance.
