Hello, After crushing my top board on my shocker a kind friend soldered a new top board onto the noid.

I then put the shocker back together and well all all is fine apart from the solinoid isnt actuating.

The light is blinkin, the whole thing is behaving normal but thier is no life from the noid.

Any ideas?

Dry joint? Any power getting to teh noid (use a multi meter)?

nah its not dry :S I have trust in dskize's soldering.

are you sure the noid is working ok. Try feeding the supply voltage to the noid pins, to see if it's ok. Is this the one you broke the board on, as it may have pulled the connection loose on the noid coil.

Air up and push the little orange button, this will tell you if the noid's ok... if it fires then re-check your wiring and connection's, If not it's foooked

Try and see how fast you can rip it, with an Allen Key...Fly is pretty good, which means he may have Parkinsons!!!!!

No offence to anyone with Parkinsons..awfull business...

well it fires when the noid the manually actuated by pressing hte wee button.

Its still not firing electronically tho

Check function of the trigger, micro switch etc, maybe something has gone squiffy there?

microswitch is fine. Thier just isnt a signal goin to the noid when It blinks to fire. help meeeeee

Check the wires etc and look for any damage to the thing...im not overly familiar with the shocker boards..
