Your same question is why I went with a Centerflag SS regulator with the On/Off button. Sometimes if I let my gun sit for awhile with it powered/aired up, those tiny, tiny leaks will drop my tank pressure so I just push the On/Off button. I had to replace the skinny black O-ring that goes around the big piece with a white O-ring from an Automag parts kit. All the other O-rings (4) are white already...I don't know why Centerflag went cheap on a part that tends to fail after awhile if it's the black O-ring.
I guess you'll either have to deal with that unsightly external On/Off or dial your tank output all the way down and fire your gun until the air is drained out of it. Most Angel users seem to use Macro/Micro line and if you hook/unhook it alot, to drain the tank, then eventually it will leak and you'll have to just trim the worn tip off. A quick disconnect would be convenient but for that short distance, it probably looks unsightly also. Enjoy your $600.00 tank
