just a quick one.....how do you guys de-gas your guns after playing?

ive got an a.i.r. on my cocker, the only way i can turn it off is to dial the pressure down to zero.....was thinking of putting an inline tap on it but that looks untidy.... theres a gadget in the new pgi on page 52 that looks like an inline on/off but its not on their web site

ideas anyone? leaving it gassed is not an option....dont fancy my daughter being able to fire it if she decided to pick it up!

may as well reply to you here,

Of the guys i play with everyone does it differently. Some turn off their air and fire through whatever is left in the gun, others will turn off the air and disconnect a piece of the hosing to filter it out that way!

Up to you i guess, easiest thing to do is to get an e-blade and turn it off! leave the air in but in theory prevents it firing.

Go on you know you want an E-blade

I have a Max-Flo - easy to turn off the air!! Usually shoot the rest of the air... Wouldn't want a system without on/off capability!!

It's simple mate, leave the AIR gassed up in your bag overnight and hey presto the next morning de gassed :D

Seriously, that's what I do!

u sure yours aint leaking? ;)
Seriously!

They really do de-gas themselves, apparently it's normal for systems that don't have an on-off valve to cut off the air supply to do this. I asked Jack when mine did it and he says it's because of all the tiny-tiny little leaks inherent in a system, (OK he didn't say inherant, his was less polite).

So yes mine is leaking, but apparently so does everyone elses.

C'mon someone give me an excuse to go tell him he's wrong:D ;)

Wouldn't that be like a Dam effect...small hole gets bigger because of the water constantly pushing through....now change that to o-rings and air ;) See if he has an answer :p
