OMFG STAR WARS AotC ROCKS!!!!

As every fan knows the only parts that are cannon are the films and nothing else.

Doesn't mean i havn't read the books, got all of the technical manuals, some of the RPG souce books and think that dark empire 1 would make a fantstic film.

But when it comes down to it all this stuff was only written asmerchandiing and in all but a few cases doesn't mean squat.
Except of course for Boba Fett because he rocks.

West End got alot of their background info. from lucasarts that's why i was commenting that i was glad to see the plot lines follow the histories and stuff....when he did the re-write he might have decided that all the old stuff wouldn't work and changed everything stead leaving it mostly alone.

lucasarts a games developer/publisher not lusasfilm which would deal with this sort of thing.
The argument as i've read is that if it don't come form lucas himself, them it don't count(unless kasdan rewrites). Oh and read this 1000 page book on what you can't write, no1 no "Yoda The Early Years" and now we see why.

lol, thats exactly what i said as i walked out of the cinema!
top film though. i hated PM, but this has restored my faith in Mr Lucas(not you Fooey!) the only thing i didn't like was the C3P0 stuff(you'll see what i mean when you see it) but i guess if i was 10 i'd love it. yeah the acting ain't that good, but come on its Star Wars not Shakespear!
And Ms Portman...what can i say....Hubba, Hubba!

Great movie. We got to see the birth of Vader's arrogance, Yoda whipping some butt, Fett the early years, nice new creatures, excellent cgi, battles,droids, and a love story. Alright, so the love story was a little off. I had a hard time buying the giggling school girl act from a hardened senator of the republic, but other than that it was worth it and made me want ep. 3.

Over the jubilee weekend the London IMAX at Waterloo is showing 16 hours of StarWars back to back includes AOTC!! Ends at around 4am i believe...Any takers?

I had enough problems with sleeping butt after 2.5 hrs from aotc
When I was younger I saw all 6 star trek movies back to back and it hurt then gunna be murder now
