im not sure but i think this uses the same firing mechanism as the launcher they made hence the wierd cocking system as it involves no moving parts

That forward cocking action is just weird, and breech/barrel assembly adds a lot of mass to the action. I'll stick with my tried & tested regular pump set-up. It looks overcomplicated and won't offer anything that current pumps don't already have - including pressure regulation. I slapped a CP inline on one of my cocker pumps, and got a good 37 shots out of a 12 gram dump changer.

It doesn't appear to have a slam fire option - at least it wasn't mentioned. Which kind of limit's it's options for open class events. A chopped ball in that breech might also be a PITA to clean. Not sure if it's field strippable for cleaning/pull through access, but it could leave you stuffed mid game.

2/10... oh and it's fugly too

I think its hideous, but its nice to know people are still thinking about stuff like this. The vavle idea is very intelligent, however it leads to a poor external look :(

hmm looks pooh, your draging the marker forward to load which messes up repeat shots at the target.
Smacks of gimick to me, if it was that good someone would have done this years ago and the reason they probably didnt is because of the above reason. >.>
They did, sort of. Introducing the AirStar Nova

Word on McB is that it's some kind of regulated dump chamber setup?
I think the point is that it's a very light action because you're just moving the breech/barrel, not recocking? And that it's a modular design, they include a lever that Can be placed anywhere on the pump arms. Would make an easy lever action build.
Not to mention first strike options.

Bear mind I may have some or all of this wrong as its from memory after a rather crappy day at work. =)
