The Nightmares were of course a pretty good team (I don't think they ever won anything mind you); Do you remember the three guys who used to run the team?
QUOTE]

do you guys mean American Nightmare? or is that a differnt team. if Am, some of them joined Corrosion and they all of us ended up moveing back to the states at differnt times.

Anyone know what happened to Apocalypse? i had a mate that joined them after Corrosion split. would be cool to find him again now that i am back.

The Midlands had loads of teams back then. Rat Pack were always the strongest, The Saracens, Blackbirds, Rage (who travelled to the US as much as the Preds back then). The No Fear team who played and won all the NTF super sevens in one year and played at Kooh Doow and Mattacots little arenaball with the triangular bunkers, and shot the crap out of Robbo as he walked off with his arm in the air. I feel after all these years it is safe to mention this incident now. Lets not forget the Sterlings who were a thrown together team to launch Dave Galsworthy's new gun and went to Nashville with it, and beat the AA's.

I remember some of those team names, I played in some of them.

Nightmares, we wer'nt that bad and I do remember winning at least once.
Brothers in arms, JB is a superstar.
Blitz Squad, my first novice team from MK. Great fun playing lots of big games.
Amalgamation, Loads of wins up at NTF. I learned loads from playing with these pro's.
Devils Guard, Good bunch of lads from up north.
Plus a few more I cant remember.

Robbo I still have videos of the big games at liphook with you and NWC posing with six packs.

wouldn,t it be nice to drag the old teams out and get a proper event going.
maybe at skirmish nottingham ,with its sup-air and woodland fields
get bully to organise it and do it for charity
ask the old bones to do it even invite the young pups and roll back the good times
if you think you can,t do it have played in bullies nbp series against some top class mills players and given them a lesson in the woods.
come on guys don,t remanise lets do it:)

Apocalypse is still going: www.apocalypsepaintball.co.uk

Only 2 originals left though, the rest of us moved on aloooooooooooooong time ago, and I'm pretty sure they don't do tourneyball anymore.

Two corrosion guys joined us Chip (Cjohns) and guy called James (Jamphi). Chip got posted back to the US in 2003, and only had a couple of games with us, James went on to some fantastic stuff, but gave up to concentrate on his career.

Rooster also rotated back to the US in 2004 I think!! They were some fun times!!
