I’m not as much of a veteran as you guys, but do you remember having to weigh gas bottles when you filled them?
Do you remember splash anno?
Do you remember when going down the local army surplus store was a great idea for kit?
Do you remember running for like a minute and still not being on the 50?
Do you remember when you couldn’t see the enemy at breakout?
LOL remember those red dot sights?
Do you remember neoprene hopper covers? And trying to get away with two or three on at once?
LOL knee and shin pad combo that went on the OUTSIDE of your trousers!!!! WTF!!

Innovations that I remember:
The Angel LED coming out and it completely changing my game.
The Angel LCD coming out and altering my game massively again.
After about a year or so of me playing came Sup-Air (with bloody great tubes connecting the bunkers)

I started playing 97 ish. Not that long ago, but its so different now.

I do remember 15man 45minutes games in the woods and 12gram quick changers then came the 6pak, very closely followed by the 7OZ bottle.

I stopped playing '96ish, just starting again.

Team-mate, adptly named "Piggy", pulling down his playing pants mid-game, bending over to show a ref his arse and shouting, "Check me Judge, am I clean???!!!???"

From my time with the Rampant Roosters - there's plenty more where that came from. Great bunch of guys those Roosters. :D

It would be rude not to mention Holmbush if we are delving into the past. Ah the ant hill field!

Sam patriots were the most exciting thing i had ever sen when i walked into Powergames and saw one off the shelf. Then my bro got a first edition angel led and kicked more sorry ass!

Anyone remember the round field mk1?
