Scutty, where do you play?

Scutty,

Which sites are good around here? I have been meaning to play some rec-ball while I was at home, but don't know any of the sites. Was going to play a walk-on day with a team down here but Skirmish Lasham (?) said we couldn't use our markers on days with other punters.

P.s. not so much pension book as Student loan! Still prefer the old board, but I'm sure I'll get used to it.

Anybody: how do I reply to a specific post, not just the latest?:confused:

Hey Red_Merkin,
The new board is better than the old board you just need to get to know it, then it will be a lot more easier to understand than the old. Waht I mean is thet people cant pretend to be some one else. :)

Well I had only used the old board for a short while so from a newbie-to-the-old-board angle I like this new forum. I'm sure many were used to the old board, but I found it difficult to read. It took ages to load because all the threads were on one page and after a while, I got bored of scrolling down trying to find a thread that I was interested in. Then when I was, trying to read any replies to the original post required me to click on each single post. Generating traffic for the site and taking extra time for me.

At least with this board, everything is much clearer/cleaner and for me at least, much easier to find different topics as they have their own section and much easier to read replies. Plus there is the Search option that will search for keywords in the thread title and body or usersnames. When you come back, threads with new posts get highlighted. You can attach pictures and url links and you can have polls too if that feature is enabled. Generally it is much more flexible, feature rich and handles more users/traffic much better than the old board most likely. It is probably also much eaiser to admin and maintain, which is a side most never get to see.

In general, it's probably better for everyone in the long run, it's just going to take some people to get used to it, but once they do and start using the extra features all the time, they'll wonder why the change wasn't made sooner. At least thats the hope of the admins I'm sure.

I am most dissapointed in you (just like your girlfriend) and I have to call myself Head judge because the rest of you lot call me "and I quote from the last tourny- !! .
In fact i'd better not say what thay called me, We are not all adults here but I assure all of you my parents were both married (To each other) CHEERS DUDE .......................I've put you on my buddy list but I dont know if i can work the dam thing :p
