I can consider myself fairly impartial, as I've owned and/or lovingly maintained and modded (for myself, friends and team members) all of these markers in my time at one point: Brass Eagle Tigershark pump, Tippmann Pro/Lite, Tippmann Pro/Carbine, Tippmann & Pro Team Products M98 FX, 2k1 right feed WGP autococker, 2k2 centerfeed WGP autococker, Warped Sportz Dark Angel LCD, B2k Bushmaster, Warped Sportz Dark 'Cocker, Warped Sportz Rock IR3, Master Tech Force 4, Angel Speed '04, GZ timmy, Gen-E Matrix, '03 Matrix and uncountable Spyders and spyder clones, and all manor of generic mechanical and electro blowbacks. Long story short, I've shot a lot of markers, and I know my shizzle. Here's the only good piece of advice anyone will ever give you: Try a lot of markers and see which one you like. Because the bottom line is this: Every marker chrono'd to 300 fps will shoot the same paintballs the same distance and eliminate oponents. I'm an Angel fan. I'm not a mindless fanboy like a lot of people, my opinion is based on my experience with them versus the tons of other great markers I've shot and owned. As far as I'm concerned, they are completely unparalleled in the industry for build and design quality. But if you pick one up and it doesn't feel right, or it doesn't shoot the way you want it to, then it's ****. Same with any other brand or type of marker. So the only way to find out which one fits you and your game and your style of play is to play with a shedload of 'em. Go to any field and ask the "cool guys" with the good guns (they're easy to find, they're the one's who think they're pretty damn cool and badass mofos) if you can shoot a pod or two through their marker. They'll be happy to oblige, especially if you approach them in a manner that strokes their ego. Try a Matrix, an Angel, a Shocker, an Ion, an Ego, an Intimidator, a Cyborg, any high end gun you can find, and make the decision based on what you like best and what fits into the parameters of your budget. No matter what marker you buy, you will have other marker's fanboys putting you down for owning it, or telling you all the reasons why you should have bought X versus Y, so go out on your own and independently decide what you like and don't feel any remorse or shame about your gun as long as you feel like it's the right one for you.
