Ok, here's one but--

it's a big concept and likely a lot of work and as to who would or could do it, beats me.
We've seen lots of articles on the short history of paintball but nothing to put paintball as a "sport" into context with the birth, growth and development of other sports and lots of folks seem to think or hope that pb is on the verge of some quantum change this might afford an excellent opportunity to try and put everything into perspective.

Why almost all Pro YANK ballers are []D[][]\/[][]Ds and have Robbo right it. I feel he would give you the British version of the story with loads of his own opinion in it!:D

In all honesty I don't know what what be an interesting article for PGI. How about something on us YANK ballers playing here in the UK because we live here? Have the hottest 21 year old Female write it because she would have to meet me! LOL:D

feet up..........
ideas for article

hi

just a idea
But how about a fly on the wall article about how pro,am and nov teams prepare themselves for a big tournie...
perhaps the article could follow them thru there preperation for the tournie thru to tournie itself.....
including photos of training upto the big day.....
that way we could see the differences in preperation and dedication.....
you could either you`se someone in each of the teams or send along someone to follow them with the article......
also perhaps use teams from differing nations for each bracket(pro am nov)....
i know i would be interestead in this sort of article......
Thanks
Paul
ps....... also find some means of including scantilly clads ladies in this article

Any way of mixing pball and big brother? ;)

Ok seriously, i lie the idea of the fly on the wall thing, or even articles on how teams train in general.

Or articles about people doing stuff to promote ball, sites, teams etc. We are all doing our bit and may just get others motivated too.

6 pages is alot unless you got some big pictures

Nick--doing your own "short" jokes? Takes a big man. :D
Like the idea too but I doubt all of them would agree to do it.

OK, Maestro, here's another one. Dueling diaries of an event. Either a pair of players, maybe one Pro, one Nov; or a player and an organizer; or maybe a player and a spectator. So you get a comparison of views about same event and "reports" that provide a more in-depth and personal impression.

Actually, I'd like to see an article like this.

"The Future of the Sport" Six 1 page essays written by :

Robbo (or any UK Captain, Robbo has a distinct style)

Tom Kaye, Bud Orr, or any gun manufacturer on the cutting edge

Bob Gurnsey, Hayes Noel, or Charles Gaines, or in fact ANY of the original 12 players from the first game

A rec player (Myslef, Rick Martin, anyone)

Bob Long, or any NPPL US team Pro captain

A wildcard, someone like TJ or Ravi or Gino or Italia or even a random yabo who writes a few paragraphs.

You cna even have just 2-5 paragraphs from MANY people, and place them in a 6 page spread. Just make sure that nobody shares papers, as it were, and see what everyone comes up with. It could be intresting, actually.

Article - Marker myths?? By Tom Kaye.

I'd like to see an article dispelling/proving all the marker myths, Cockers shoot flatter, angels lob, open bolt v's closed bolt etc etc
Maybe not enough there for 6 pages however.

On the topic of features I think it was warpig whom when doing a marker review used to bench mount them and record the shot groupings it'd be nice to see this sort of test done in the technical pages along with tests for shootdown etc

What do you think?

Paul.

"The worlds best paintball field" An indepth analyses of the worlds greatest fields , involving a gruelling year-long road trip to all the best big games and rental fields, written by me :D (and paid for by PGI)
