Errr.....
What I meant was that I respect the both of you for starting a heated argument that is paintball related. I didn't mean you two were supposed to be nice to each other, because then this debate would get all mushy and boring. But I'm pretty sure you know all that, and just found this a good way to give Nick another kick in the hurty bits. Nice one.
Over to you, Nick. :D

First off everybody I do not think that all Euros suck? There are some very good teams over in Europe Russian,TonTon,Joy Div,Shockwave,Uglyducklings, and numerous others. Listen everbody this subject will never end but in some way i will throw in my 2 cents. First of all i think alot of the teams lack that KILLER INSTINCT!Over the last couple of years watching alot of teams when they walk the fields they tend to figure out were there 1st move is and maybe there 2nd but hardly there 3rd or 4th moves which is where alot of games are won! :D Check this out most US teams are always trying to figure out how we can get further up the field FASTER! TAKE MORE GROUND... MORE BUNKERS THAT IS WHY THEY ARE THERE! Euros play Soccer(MY BAD FOOTBALL) they half to teach you guys or gals how to slide right? well some of the funniest paintball games I've watched is Euros slide into there bunkers? One more thing work on shooting with both hands..Left,Right and NO BLIND SHOOTING PLEASE:confused: Please Euros do not think for one second that I personally or my team(AVALANCHE) does not respect you or your team we do that is why we keep coming over there to play we want you to get better! so if you ever see me(OR MY TEAM) at any tournys over there feel free anytime and ask me any paintball questions that you possiably want to know? Cya in Germany!

.... NICE (I'm going all mooshy and warm inside)..... I'm just returning the favour, from all the times you managed to do it to me !
- And then... falling into my own trap... something puzzles me:
My "selfmanufactured standing in the game" - as opposed to my "real standing" ???
Interesting !
I'm actually unaware of any scoring system to determine individual "standing" in this, our team game - but if one exists (apart from the bragging rights, when someone gets a mention in an article), pray tell.... I'd love to learn more about it !
Baring such a system being in existence - without my knowledge - it has to be your own personal, subjective oppinion you refer to ?
Which means you believe I overvalue myself ?
Hmmm..... oh well..... whether or not I'm perceived of having a certain "standing" in the sport, isn't really THAT important to me.
What happens if a butterfly flaps its wings in China ?
Nick

Hmmm, Nick, I don't know whether or not you have seen the other thread I am involved with ?
Dammit man, my brain and sensibilities are frying.
Nevertheless, to be quoted 'Chaos theory' in a rebuttal by a paintballer is an unsettling experience to say the least and I am impressed that you made the connection.
I would however point out that in the scheme of things, the relative differences between a tornado in Florida and a butterfly flapping its wing in Japan is about the same difference in the article I wrote and your claimed input
But anyway, to take on a heavyweight like yourself at this time in the morning (now 4.20 am) is not something I am willing or have the inclination to do.
I offer a truce so I can go back to bed and try to sleep and not keep gritting my teeth at all things living in and around Cambridge.

I accept the truce gladly !

Especially since you are the real heavyweight - and myself just a carefree middleweight, who should be happy to get a draw out of this !

I DO appreciate you getting the chaos theory reference though - and seeing that this could so easily have deteriorated into a debate that no one would get - except maybe Buddha - after a trip to the local coffee house !
:D
I'm sooo glad you accepted the truce, you might have even got a punch in the way I was feeling :)
