There's a lack of funding coming from the traditional big sponsors, including AC's main sponsor this year. So...they may have needed to pick up someone with deep pockets.
Also pro for Spain is looking super weird this year.
Kyiv United finished 18th out of 26 teams in Semi Pro last year...but they're pro this year.

An entirely new pro team is playing, although I think they're just replacing the Euro MLKing lineup with a random smattering of all star americans.

NXL have just pushed back the cut offs for the price increases to the Barcelona event.
Probably cause they only have 3 pro teams paid up and about 40 teams total.
