On topic: Is an xbox worth getting for gaming? I cant be arsed with PC updates and upgrades and just want a turn on and play thingy. How is it multiplayer?

X-box live is alright, bit buggy though. Not the games, more the servers they use being a bit hit and miss...
Hopefully they will have suitable Halo servers in place though for the MP

duke nukem + nerd does NOT belong in the same sentance! Duke3D at an internet cafe-gaming doesnt get more hardcore than that!
the ironic bit of your post john is that the people who use agg etc do not thing theyre any cooler for using it,but are actually bein ironic when they actually say it.think someone needs a sense of humour....
