Sure there is. Like grains of sand on the beach but--there is also a whole class of young player growin' up who actually takes all the lessons to heart and who's learning all the lessons younger and younger. And the majority of new tourney players fall into the second category. (At least around here, they seem to.)

Well, I for one do believe in the importance of off hand shooting. That's why I couldn't believe it when I started noticing that in every video of Todd Adamson I saw, he did not switch hands. He didn't even switch the bottle to his left side, he just always shot with his right shoulder.

Maybe it's an anomally with all the videos I've seen since I started noticing it, but that's how it was. Some of those videos were X-Ball videos so it's not like this back in the day. In fact, it's in *supposedly* the most technically demanding version of the sport. Check out smacktalkpaintball.com to see the videos I'm talking about.

Doesn't change anything--I still think it's a vitally important skill. But it's just surprising that possibly one of the best players in the game does not do it and still succeeds.

All it means is that Todd can get away with it depending on the circumstances in a particular game. He's more interested in maintaining uninterrupted streams of paint than he's worried about being shot at--and hit.

Then of course there is the matter of Shock's standings in NXL over the course of the season.

And no, I don't have 12 fingers.

dont know whether any of you have seen this, but i seen somewhere, i think it was the ironmen, they were shooting on the left, but still firing with their right hand, so their left would be supporting the grip or reg, whatever floats ya boat.

i have tried this method, and it enables you to be able to keep up the rate of fire most have with their preffered hand, and still a small profile.
this method is a bit harder to get used to, especially keeping a steady aim, but once you are used to it, works wonders.

tell me what ya think?
