Was a good central venue, though the hoggin overflow car park surface was a bit rough. I think WDP may have been involved in that one.

Interestingly, feedback from the MS was that the European teams found it hard to get to, what with it having an international airport right next door.

The turf stuff they used was awesome and bouncy and after it was wet even an awkward lanky bean (back then) like me could slide with ease.

Agreed, the playing surface was excellent, I'm struggling to remember what those padded turf squares were called, but, bejezus, were they expensive!

To be fair, if they were pissed off at the dact 'it wasnt london', im pretty sure they wont like brum...

I seem to remember it being called 'action turf', I looked into how much it would cost to do a field with it, insane price.

cps have released a picture of there Wu Tan bunker obviously not made by sup air as the dips look a lot lower and playable
