as far as i am aware there are only 2 of us from the cameronians going to the big game (myself and kev) though Sid has tasked us with collecting all the paintballs that bounce, reboxing them and bringing them back!! :D

Case of paint : 30 pounds, 25 of which made back from selling 3/4 of it to the car next to me.

some 12 grams : 10 pounds

PGP, holster, tubes, and other assorted gear : 100 pounds or so

Nailing some guy in the goggles who bought 2 boxes of paint and thought the big game is only about laying down the balls : Priceless.

You know I'd be there if I could. There's only one thing stopping me. The Atlantic. I'd drive it if I could figure out how to do it non-stop.

Now if you UK Players got together, and got me a plane ticket, and an entry in, I've got a SC Phantom and a PGP and the Stroker, and I can pack in an hour for the big game... It's all here, ready to roll, goggles, pads, batteries, radios, cleats, clothing and stuff, tubes, battlepack, squeegies... Right here... :D

Did I mention 1 hour? I have a keychain that's a bottle opener! I can make a bologna sandwich to die for! I'll bring some American Mountain Dew!!! :)

Chronic was the paint of Skyball. We shot it through Phantoms (CO2 Pump guns) with no problem. It does run to the small side of .68 tho, I had some rollout problems with it. And if you're shooting hte pink stuff, good lord that stuff tracks through the woods like you wouldn't believe....

If you can't trace their pink balls you're blind. It's that simple. It DOES bounce a bit, so aim for the hard bits. I wasn't too put back by it at Skyball, but I need a tight bore barrel for my Phantom to shoot the stuff.

Hey Tyger, I'm thinking of bringing along a 2nd hand phantom I bought to the North V South and was wondering how to get around the "roll out" problem.

I understand there was a soution to this using nail varnish or something, is this simply a case of just painting a few "bumps" on the inside as ball detent?

Basically, yes. a bit of nail polish, but the way I was told to do it is to paint a 'ring' around the inside of the barrelby the threads. I've been too paranoid to try it, but I'm told it works.

If it doesn't work, don't blame me. I've never done it. I'm gonna end up buying a tight bore barrel for the Phantom. (Smart parts or J&J or a Palmer custom...)
