Wed 9th April Review
It was smashing to be back and be able to hold another great 3 Man Tournament. Quite a few usual teams missing, (holidays and work) but still a healthy 6 teams, and with a double run through of the game schedule each team still got to play 10 games each. The weather was kind for a change to NSPA and the new safe zone seems to be a big hit (with lots more improvements on the way). It was also great to see Fusion and Crazy Russians play so well and hoping they will become regular players in the 3 Man. The atmosphere was as good as it ever was, with all players helping each other out with advice on kit and field play. A real friendly night, thank you.
The games were as competetive as ever and some fabulous individual play on show. Just can't wait till next week now!
The results:
1st. Moppy's T Bags 37pts: (Pretty much faultless performance from the full team all night. Brandon Singer stepped in as a late sub and gave a splendid performance. Moppy himself shone. Excellent all round)
2nd. Raggy Rasta's 34pts: (Set off to a flier, but tailed off just before half time. The Crazy Russians spoiled the party with a victory which meant the Rasta's were on catch up for the rest of the night, but some super performances!)
3rd. Fusion 24pts: (First time players on Sup Air at NSPA "and didn't they do well!" Took points off all the big guns and were a pleasure to have onsite. Top 3 finish with an excellent point score. Hope they come back and carry on playing as they have started.)
4th. Jakass 20pts: (A team who at the moment are on the up and up. With a settled 3 man team now they keep improving with every tournament. Highlight, daddy Paul on his own, surrounded on all flanks but still managed to take the opposition out and getting a 3-3 score. Just fab to watch.)
5th. Crazy Russians 18pts: (Ah, the Russians are back and having a slow start, spent half time walking the field and came out as a team possessed. Started to attack! Started to win! These guys just want to learn. With a bit more training and belief in themselves they will be top half table in no time!)
6th. Mad Monks 16pts: (The less said the better! Missed Mr Soppit and were carrying injuries, but will battle back thats for sure.)
All teams can take it from here on in that The Wednesday Night Tournament will be on every week, unless you are notified by text or your stable Captains!
All the usual thanks to all the usual people, see you all next week.
