NPPL rule question

The cold is creeping in over here which caused me to think about the NPPL rule pertaining to layers of clothing. It says you may only have two layers, so what the heck do you do if it's freezing-ass cold? As a ref, surely, you'd want to let it slide, but if a team wanted to be jerky about it, they would have the rule book behind them. So, what the heck? I'm trying to think how often this is even an issue, but it'll have to come up eventually, right? RIGHT!?!

Proof of my boredom, right here folks.;)

hmm?

i reckon thats a good question, although im not a torni player yet(although i will be) the only thing i can think of isthat they have that rule so that if you are shoot and your clothing is very thick the ball might not break as well as if you were wearing thinner cloths,Or it could be that,If they didnt have a rule of 2 layers you ma get idiots coming down to the nppl wearing HUGE coats and massive baggey clothing,Anything o stop a ball breaking, but if its really cold then im sure they wont mind you wearing something else unless the ref doesnt like you for some reason
cant think why;)

hope that helped

The rule is there to prevent cheating. It's a fact that multi layers of clothing does cause bouncing.
So the answer is to follow the rules, cover up with jackets or coats between games (necessary if you want to prevent torn muscles or worse) and give 100% during the game. When the game starts, the adrenaline will be running so you probably won't feel the cold anyway.
Eat something small between games, and drink something hot.
So many times I've seen players shivering between games. Why? There's no need to.
Wear warm head gear, most heat loss is from the head.
Be sensible, avoid choose a sopping wet barricade, but if you do get wet, take a couple of dry undershirts and a spare pare of trousers to change into.
Cold sets in and muscles seize up when you stand around between games with inadequate or wet clothing. Your body and brain will not function properly and they will let you down.
Much like any athlete really, look after your body, it will perform as you want it to and you won't feel cold.
