Pffft, pay the $100 and switch your ticket. Chump change to ESPN exposure.

Looks to me like PSP is screwed - not only is NPPL on ESPN, but they're apparently on ESPN because ESPN 1) LIke Paintball 2) HATED NXL so much that they went and got someone else to make them a paintball show!

Pretty bad when you've got the better format AND get there first AND still manage to screw it up.

Let's just hope this isn't a repeat of '95ish where it gets banished to the 2 AM time slot.

What of the NXL teams who havn't got a pro slot in the NPPL next year? The amount of sponsor and prize money that will become available in the league should become imense (asuming the show gets decent exposure and isn't ****). How much will teams pay to get a slot? And will those teams who already have one give them up for anything but a price that could be equated to all the tea in China?

word on the vine that some of the big sponser's have been trying to buy as many pro slot's in the nppl as they can even before the news that espn came known to the puplic,

The team's that were thinking of selling there spot's are now staying in because of all the so called money and coverage that will be floatting about well that's what the vine tell's me

Wooooo Hoooo, I'm rich, I'm rich !!!!!!!!!

I have already had 3 offers to sell (two from one source) and I said 'no' to all 3 and that was before the ESPN deal got announced, hmmm, I think the price has just doubled :)

Now, should I sell or should I stay ?

I've already decided what I am gonna do but what would you do?

And so's people don't just answer with. 'it depends how much was offered', let's assume for argument's sake I was being offered 150,000 dollars.....would ya take the money and run?
Hee, hee decisions, decisions !
:):):)

now dont take this the wrong but do you remember a post a while back that said "it is going to be so much harder next season because of the team's that will be coming up.

Now with that in mind and with the team's that are trying to buy spot's i.e the russian's and other big hitter's you said it would be so much harder and you would create your own destiny in europe i would say take the money and run.

BUT the amount of coverage you would get if it did go big in the state's and let's face it if it goe's big time over there the rest of the world will follow suit to the u.s. then i say stick with it and ride the wave

And good luck because i think you will be getting more and more offer's

Whether you take the money and run depends on whether you think Nexus can make you more than $150,000 if you stay. I'd say, especially with the coming influx of NXL teams, that you should take the money, as otherwise you're probably just going to lose the spot next year and get $0.

Unless playing NPPL for one more year is worth $150,000 to you, or you're willing to majorly change your roster, which might make it more interesting to stick around.

However, who says NPPL is going to honor the 18 spot system? I can't imagine the PSP/NXL guys are going to merge with NPPL without getting some spots in the deal. Are they going to just add more spots, or are they going to boot some teams?
