As I understand it Clan Army are putting a team in as well....oh my word, Scottish in HB....whatever next

I would definitely qualify that as rumor.
Is some of the basis for it legit? I believe so. There is--let's call it a faction--that would perhaps very likely do almost exactly that but last I heard it wasn't likely and there are elements that would probably still object. (Which, in this biz, means nearly nothing.
As for HB being the biggest event? The most hyped. The most appealing. Perhaps. But not the biggest. Not even close. That remains WC.
There's 'factions' and there's factions Paul and what starts out as a factional interest can soon expand into a league interest if the scene is set appropriately.
It certainly makes sense on a few levels, but in paintball, the fact it makes sense means this interest is doomed to almost certain failure - still, I'd love to be pleasantly surprised
You already know the relevant factors and factions that are being bought to bear and both of us could predict the outcome with a flip of a coin.
If HB is a tread-water event, we'll soon find out
