NPPL Hopper Regulation?

Hey Guys, someone told me that the NPPL is putting in a ban so players can no longer use clear loaders... wtf? Well, feel sorry for all those guys who bought clear eggII's, haha. Good thing I was cheap and went for the black. (not that I play professionally anyway, lmao ) Anyway, Anyone got any reasons why? Just bored, and just want to see whats up. Cheers Mates.

I believe the reason's are to do with ball breaks in the hopper..
Apparently some referees can not tell the difference between a break inside and a break outside. I can appreciate this from a distance , but surely when they come close to pull you out they will see that the break is inside???

Also I would like to know the ruling on clear pods? as this would cause the same confusion..

If the color of the balls inside the hopper is the same of the hit it is difficult to see the hit.

I have just read thru a load of the old clear loader threads to see if anything had actually changed, and to be honest everyone is gettin ready for it to happen. however no-one actually believs it will happen. Pretty strange circumstance really.

in the process of stopping a player and cheking them or falsely
calling them out
i can imagine arguments occuring...
this rule also applys to loaders with more than 1 colour too.


as we are on the subject of loaders...
will clear/multi-coloured loaders be alowed at campaign?

i think they have banned stikers too...
cant remember is it was NPPL wo made this rule.. may have been the P.A

i dont think this was because of marshals thinking their hits
more along the lines of it making your kit look un-professinol

Its not a major problem if they do ban them, people will just order smoked or black sides anyway.

As far as the stickers go i read somewhere theres a limit on the size like 5 cm by 5 or something, but surely marshals arent going to stand there with a ruler on the chrono.

If you put yourself in the refs shoes guys, which im sure most of you never have been at a major league event.....

Ok fair enough its a seriously bad call to pull someone for a burst in a hopper, ive had it happen to a team mate at a major event, and it sucks......

But, if the **** is hitting the fan, maybe someone went on a run thu, whatever, you see what looks like a clear shot a hopper, you rip that dudes armband and move on to control the rest of the situation.....clear hoppers don't help refs in situations where u gotta make some fast decisions and bring order to chaos....

Clear should be banned imo, but not smoke, smoke rulez
