Now that jumps out as a big problem, Ionman SupAir is also Jan 27th (lot more fun and with prizes)

Ionman Recball is Feb 24th (Recaball Ionman again more fun and prizes)

March 30th back to supair with prizes

and the beauty of all this is it is all held at two venues where everyone has fun and enjoys the days. Newbies even get help from more experienced players without trying to rub their noses in it.

Heck SuperLeague until March is advertised as self marshalling - not fair on new players, am not trying to induce flaming I just think it is worth pointing out that D7's and the Ionman looks to be the best tourneys in the North of England

As far as i'am aware the superleague posted up there winter 3 & 5 man event dates on the 24/10/07 on the SL forum and also on p8ntballer soon after,so as probably to give fair warning to teams and other event organisers. There seems to have been a breakdown in comunication between event organisers when arranging date's etc....

Cant see the problem myself the january/febuary superleague is 3-man and nspa is 5-man,you makes your choice and pays your money.

As for the self-marshalling,i was told the idea behind it was to keep the cost down to a minimum, and treat the day more of a "just turn up" team training day than a full blown tourny, after all what the hell do you want for a £5.00 entry fee.

Chill Mike,

Like I said am not after flaming mate, it is purely my opinion, hell if it is offending people then am sure the mods will alter it or they will tell me to alter it. Yes you are right it is a 3man tourney and the other is a 5man tourney.

I think you'll find both have a different following and Ionman is set for the last sunday every month. Ionman started in the woods not the air field so was never played or set up to go against SL. If the dates were posted on SL then no body checked them as no body was aiming to go against SL. If people choose the SL I hope they have a great day and enjoy what they are doing. I personally know that 80 percent the teams for Ionman at least are mainly woodballers originally that have never played SL.

Sometimes events clash that is life and sadly will always happen, but my personal view is if you choose the Masters, The SL, The PA, The Ionman or the Millenium series etc that you enjoy what your doing and have fun. If your not enjoying the event try something else. Paintball should be for fun and some people enjoy different styles and rules etc. Which ever or what ever way you play or event you enjoy. I personally hope you enjoy and spread the word that all paintball is great !
