Hey guys, apart from the SL does anyone know of any Northern paintball series avaliable? The UKM is at Lincoln until March and transport can be an issue sometimes, just want something to play until the SL gets rolling again.

Cheers everyone

The NSPA has a 3 man event on a wed night once the weather picks up. The Ionman sup air is held at the NSPA. Why are people scared of trees ? 5 man is class in the woods and from a lot of air ballers who played the woods last year the most common quote was "my god I never thought it would be so fast and fun".

I have to agree with chris (Shadlad) here 5 man in the woods is wicked! Last year there was some of the countrys top teams played it and loved it! I think in fairness when you look at supair comaired to woods (i will get flamed here!!!) woods is alot harder and more challenging. There is natural obsticles (your not exactly on a loverly level well lurfed lawn) and stuff that cant be predicted or planned.

I think supair although its great (deffo gonna get flamed here) loses alot of what paintball is all about and thats shooting each other. No offence to very keen supair players here but i think its easyier in a way to play supair although it is faster in a way, and that way is in turnaround. Your off the field then back on in a few mins. Why not enjoy the day and enjoy a chat and not be rushed around, does anyone actully like being rushed in this manner? I know full well i run the same speed playing air as i do woods and thats full throttle!

Last years ionman was a huge sucess (obviously coz there a full series again this year as people have asked for it), i think it was a sucess because people enjoyed playing the game. By this i meen a really fiendly and non pushy atmosphere, a great host and site, and very very good sportsmanship! The banter between all the teams was spot on, some of the better players offered help and advice to the up and comings, people helped each other with marker troubles etc etc.

Like has been posted before if you are majorly not wanting to play the woods then just play the air, but truthfully you will be missing out, its totally nothing like the old punter days i think woods tournments are in a class of there own! :D
