I disagree, i think the game area was too big this time, we were walking around all day between checkpoints, speaking to captains and generals trying to get into a firefight, and didnt actually see any proper action until just before 3pm when the south were storming checkpoint 4. every time we saw some South players and started shooting they stuck their hands up as they were already out/leaving the game.

I personally think that N v S needs to be played back at NPF's site @ bassets pole and played as a multi-faction game like they played the 2003 Warriors game, It's certainly a big enough site to accommodate the players, plus its a purpose built site ( and probably the best in the UK), Swynnerton's site this year was way too vast and more time was spent walking to objectives equalling less trigger time. there may have been 1800 ish players, but not all are present on the field at the same time..!

My weekend was enjoyable but sundays game was mediocre at best.

Although the site was bigger than ever I found it easier than the past to find and get into a fight. There were ultimately only 4 objectives, with a consistent location, one per area so if you headed towards one of them you'd probably get in a fight. As well as that the North had a General's tent near the bus terminal and it wasn't rocket surgery to go ask them where to go to get in a ruck then hop on the appropriate bus. In fact this year I used the busses to get into areas 2 & 3 and get back to the staging area whenever possible I did less walking than I've ever done.

The respawn system worked very well, they were kept near the hotspots so it encouraged aggression near checkpoints as it was never far to cycle back in after getting clipped.

EELZ and Sl1d3r hit the nail on the head for me, the site was far to big and players spread to thin. I spoke to guys who'd been left to "protect" check points and they saw very little action, we were part of the Norths strike teams and we were walking around looking for a fight most of the day.

If warped want to use a bigger area then I don't know why they don't use one half in the morning and one in the afternoon.

MASSIVE LET DOWN.

See what ya saying and would have agreed with u till a point where nest split into fight teams to take a equaled sized team from the south which was awesome
We found big fights
We found tactical bits
We found building clearances
Ill be back next year no questions asked

I personally think part of the reason why there is a perception there may not have been as many fights as previous is to do with this year the South completely sucked, like seriously. Previous years were tight, arguably the South were the better organised force, fighting hard and keeping their forces on top of the objectives. This year, from my perspective as a Northern Monkey the South seemed a mess, barely bothering to assault the majority of the checkpoints en mass
